Why Most People Struggle with a Lack Mentality and How to Overcome it

Everyone was born wealthy regardless of the environment that they were born in. I know that's a bold statement especially if you grew up poor but think about it. When you were a child and you went into the store you asked your mom for everything you wanted. You had an unlimited amount of desires and you didn't understand the concept of money. Your spirit already knew that all you had to do was ask. We were all born that way because that's how it is in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Yet you don't have what you want because you don't ask God for it, and when you do you don't get it because you only want what gives you pleasure.

John 4:3

Lack Mentality had to be taught no one was born with it. Phrases like "Do you have McDonald's money? Money doesn't grow on trees; Money is the root of all evil." In poor to middle class families, they are taught to work hard for money. Rich and wealthy families teach you to make money work hard for you. Though we all were given a wealthy mindset as children depending on your parents you were either taught lack or growing your wealth. Rich Dad Poor Dad Paper Book. You're an adult now and you want to know “how do I unlearn all of the wrong beliefs?” I will always advocate studying the Holy Scriptures because it's the most powerful book on the planet and it's FREE. However, you will need time and help understanding it. Second, start studying wealthy people and how they make decisions. Let's map out clear belief differences between poor vs rich and Kingdom mentalities.

Make Money work hard for you through employees, assets and investments.

KINGDOM OF HEAVEN MENTALITY

Master your money by putting it to work then protect your money through investments.

The wealthy understand spiritual laws that govern the earth. On social media when they are being interviewed, they tell the masses the key to getting rich is working hard. They don't want you to know that isn't all of it. Clearly there are many people working hard, but wealth is built over time through multiplication. If you are working hard on the job you are not multiplying, you're adding. Addition is the slow way to grow, you need multiplication. Compound interest is a favorite word of the wealthy because it means work is happening without any effort. It means you put little in consistently and overtime it accumulates on its own. Having a lack mentality isn't your fault but unlearning it is your responsibility. If you truly desire to live in the Kingdom of God and receive all of the Father's benefits, then it is going to take time and effort to become a new person.
